Waterfront Transformation brochures
National Museums Liverpool
Three brochures were designed with the aim of informing the public of the exciting elements that were happening with the waterfront area which housed the various museums run by National Museums.
Using NMLs branding, I created two A5 brochures and an oversize A4 folder to house the smaller brochures and other important items.
The amazing photos taken by various professional photographers, really lifted the design of the brochures which were very image-led. The A5 brochure for the International Slavery Museum (ISM) was particularly poignant for me. The cover image on the right is of the Martin Luther King building which sits next to the ISM and will soon be the new entrance for the museum.
The main A4 oversize brochure (left) features a bespoke pocket with UV varnish on the flap. This enables the insertion of the smaller A5 brochures and the ‘Will you make change happen’ business card shown below. The ‘will you’ words and NML’s thread were varnished on the front.
Some of the page layouts are shown below.
Various illustrations to work alongside NMLs branding were designed for use in the brochures. The direction however changed to just photos in the end, but I’m pretty proud of them so wanted to give them space on the page.
